Fiona Collins
Fiona is an Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of experience in seating. She specializes in preventing and managing poor posture and pressure damage in armchairs and wheelchairs. She is regularly asked to undertake assessments on behalf of Primary Care Trusts, Social Services Departments, Insurance Companies and private individuals. Fiona has run an NHS Wheelchair Service, worked in industry and was a Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy at the University of Brighton for 6 years. Fiona undertakes expert witness cases for civil and criminal courts and coroners. She has written over 50 journal articles, a number of educational booklets and co-authored two books, 'Tissue Viability: A comprehensive guide', and 'A-Z Dictionary of Wound Care'.
