Eastbourne Wound Healing Centre Community Interest Company

The Eastbourne WHC is now a Community Interest Company (CIC) which means it functions as a Social Enterprise. As a CIC we will be reinvesting any profits back into developing our services or benefitting the community through increased education and awareness of wound care and prevention.

Social enterprises are relatively new in healthcare, but increasingly common elsewhere. Currently there are 55,00 social enterprises in the UK with a combined turnover of £27billion per year. These companies account for almost 1% of GDP in the UK.
